Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sandra!
I welcome any opportunity I can get to talk about the
Disney Dining Plan because it's one of my favorite parts of a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. I love having all of my family's meals taken care of in advance, and of course, how flexible and easy the Dining Plan to use.
For the most part, if a restaurant is participating in the Dining Plan you are able to order any entrée you want as part of your meal. There are some instances where a specialty menu item is not included in the Dining Plan but it will be clearly marked on the menu. For example, there was a 5-Ounce 100% Japanese Wagyu Beef Strip Loin on the menu at
Yachtsman Steakhouse at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort that was not included with the Dining Plan, but the menu stated that clearly and also offered a surcharge that guests using the Dining Plan could pay if they wanted to order that dish. Of course, that's rare and there are very few restaurants that have menu items like that. The vast majority of the time, if it appears as an entrée on the menu it is included in the Dining Plan. The Cast Members serving you are Disney Dining Plan experts so if you have any questions in the moment, you can ask them when you sit down and they'll be happy to help you out.
Have a magical day. Sandra!
