I see that on the dining plan for 6 people they will add 18% tip on table service meals. What about quick service meals.

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!

My family loves touring Walt Disney World, but when we can do so using a Disney Dining Plan? Even more--deliciously--magical!

When touring Walt Disney World using a Disney Dining Plan, you are correct that Guests in a party of six or more will have an 18% gratuity automatically added to their checks. Because this gratuity is added for your server, this applies only to Table-Service meals. When you are finished dining, you will pay for the gratuity and any additional items that you may have enjoyed that are not included in your particular Dining Plan, such as souvenier glasses, appetizers, etc. Easy peasy!

At Quick-Service locations, you'll order your meal at a counter or kiosk, and, in general, will pick up your meal at a counter or window, then bring it to a table you have picked out for yourself. No gratuities applied there.

Have so much fun planning your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, James! Send us more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
