If on the dining plan, is it a pain when you order things that are not included on the plan(like beer, wine, etc.)? I mean, does it make paying more difficult?

We had no problem adding ineligible dining plan items onto our order during our last trip in September.  We added specialty drinks (not included on the Disney dining plan) and/or alcoholic beverages at nearly every meal.  When we were finished, the server would present us with two tabs: one to sign for the dining plan credits, and another for the add-ons that we could pay with cash, credit card, or room charge.  Ordering "extras" never posed a problem and didn't complicate the paying process at all.  Hopefully you'll find the same to be true during your dining experiences!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
