So we have the dining plan with one quick and one sit down meal. I will have my older kids that are adults. My 16 year old will be considered a child. Does that mean she orders from children meal or adults or either one?

    Hi Sharon!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm happy to hear you'll be using the Disney Dining Plan on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family loves using the Dining Plan - especially my husband, who appreciates how much easier it is to budget for our meals by taking care of them ahead of time. He much prefers a quick tap of his MagicBand to use our Dining Plan entitlements rather than reaching for his wallet after every meal!

While the Kids Menus are designed and designated for children ages 3-9, if an older child or adult using the Dining Plan would prefer to order a Kids Meal, they would certainly be allowed to use their entitlements (meal credits) to do so. My 14-year-old is a bit of a picky eater, and sometimes prefers the selections on the Kids Menu. Your daughter will be able to choose from either menu during your vacation.

Over 200 Walt Disney World dining venues participate in the Disney Dining Plan, so you never have to search far for some delicious meals or tasty treats at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope you enjoy using the Dining Plan as much as we do!

Please let us know if you have more questions before your vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
