    We have the dining plan for our Oct. trip? Can we choose when we want to use our meal credirs or pay cash? And is it possible when we are dining with our kids to use their meal credits for their meals but pay cash for ours ?

    Hi Andrea,

    The Disney Dining Plan affords guests great flexibility in paying for your meals at Walt Disney World.  You most certainly can choose which meals you will pay for using dining credits and which you will pay for using cash.  We do this all the time.  We simply figure out which meals will be most expensive and then use the Dining Plan credits for those meals.  It is also possible to pay for the kids' meals using dining credits while paying cash for your own.  Just give the Cast Member serving you clear instructions as to how you would like them to apply your dining credits to your bill.
