Should we do the dining plan or not? We like to eat nice sit down dinners at night. It is my husband, me and our 5 year old. Does it save money or is it a hassle? I am asking about Disney World.

I am a huge fan of dining plan! It allows me to relax knowing that I have a reservation for a great meal at a location that I already chose. No need to start looking for a meal at the last minute. You can enjoy your vacation knowing that your meals are taken care of! The only real issue that most people have is the concern that they must use it or lose it. You can redeem your meals in any order throughout your package stay until each person's meal total is complete. I am of the mindset that it is a treat that is already paid for and have fun using it and making fantastic reservations at some really awesome places that I never would have tried. Epcot is a great place to look for a nice place to eat. From all of the nations at the World Showcase to the treats in the Land Pavilion, my family always eats like royalty on the dining plan. There are just so many options and combinations available to your family for meals that the dining plan is really a benefit while on vacation. I hope this assists you and I cannot wait to see you at the parks.
