we have the dining plan and are meeting up with family that also has the dining plan. Can we make reservations for 7 even though we are on 2 separate dining plans?

    Hi Misti,

It sounds like you have some wonderful plans in store for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! There is nothing better than sharing a Disney vacation with family as you are sure to make memories which will last a lifetime. Dining together at the Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to connect with extended family during your vacation. You can celebrate your shared time together, recount stories of all of the milestones and adventures being experienced on the trip and relax and enjoy delicious food in each other's company. Is there anything better than that?

If you are planning to dine with extended family during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I am happy to confirm that you will certainly be able to request as many separate checks as required. For convenience, I recommend that you notify the Cast Member serving you when first placing your order of your requested bill allocation. At that time, the Cast Member will also likely inquire as to whether you will be using any Disney Dining Plan credits. When it comes time to pay, each separate family can simply use their MagicBand to redeem the required Disney Dining Plan credits.

If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend that you consider making dining reservations in advance as many popular Walt Disney World Resort restaurants fill quickly. As a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest, you will be able to make dining reservations starting 180 days in advance of your check in date for the duration of your stay, up to 10 consecutive days.

Wishing you all the best as you continue to plan and countdown to your upcoming Disney vacation!

    Bon Appétit!
