If on the dining plan, may we order an appetizer and be charged specifically for that and use our DDP for our entree, dessert and beverage?

    Hi Doris,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.  I love the Disney Dining Plan, for my family and I it is truly the best way to enjoy the delicious dining options at Walt Disney World Resort.

If you have purchased the Disney Dining Plan, each guest is entitled to an entrée, dessert and beverage at Table-Service and Quick Service Dining Locations.  Anything above and beyond will be added to your cheque and you will be responsible for the additional charges at the end of your meal.  The Cast Member will present your cheque and have the Disney Dining Plan Entitlements shown on your cheque as well as the extras, such as appetizers.  Once you verify for accuracy, there are several different options for payment.  These options include MagicBands (if your charging has been added to your Account), cash, Disney Gift Cards or Credit Card.

If your family loves food as much as mine, I would recommend the Deluxe Dining Plan.  With the Deluxe Dining Plan, each guest is entitled to three meals and two snacks per day.  What we like to do is book a Table-Service breakfast and indulge in a Signature Dining Location for most dinners.  With so many Dining entitlements, we are sure to enjoy the best offered at Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Doris.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
