Hi Lynda,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to hear that you are planning to take advantage of a
dining plan. Purchasing a dining plan helps me to better estimate how much money we are going to spend on food!
It sounds like you have either the
Disney Dining Plan or the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. Currently, on the Disney Dining Plan, each guest 3-years old and over can order one entrée, one dessert and one beverage OR one buffet or family style meal at each table service restaurant for lunch or dinner. On the Disney Deluxe Dining plan, each guest can order one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert and a beverage OR one buffet or family style meal for lunch or dinner at table-service restaurants. Breakfast would include one entrée and one beverage OR one buffet or one family style meal on either plan.
Lynda, to get an idea of what food options we have at
signature restaurants, I check the menus of the restaurants we plan to visit. The
California Grill dinner menu, for example, lists the options for appetizers, entrées and desserts. The cast members who serve you at each restaurant will explain exactly what food options are included as part of your dining plan. If you have not done so already, try making a dining reservation at California Grill during the Happily Ever After fireworks show. The view from atop Disney's Contemporary resort is just lovely!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
