We also have the dining plan. As for food favorites we don't really have any.

    Hi, Jocelyn!

Okay, so you are on the Disney Dining Plan, great choice!

With Mickey and Princess fans among you, check out a meal at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This buffet serves fantastic food (and you'll have little wait once seated) PLUS you'll be able to meet Mickey and pals as they circulate among Guest tables as you dine. This will eliminate any additional time you'd need in the park to meet the Mouse himself! Time saver!

For Princess dining, our favorite is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. While we LOVE dining at Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom, that venue uses 2 Table Service entitlements, whereas Akershus uses only one. When we are trying to get the most number of meals out of our Dining Plan, we'll head to Norway; if there is a special occasion where we want to splurge by using 2 entitlements, Cinderella's Royal Table wins.

To book the rest of your Advanced Dining Reservations (which book up quickly because the Dining Plans are so popular) check out the menus on WDW's website and read reviews from fantastic fan sites such as AllEars.net or DisneyFoodBlog.com. Both of these sites provide reviews, photos, unofficial pricing and tips on ordering at dozens of WDW venues. Once you've decided which park to visit each day, select a Table Service restaurant that is either within that park or is located nearby and book your reservation.

If you'd like my own suggestions on how to get the biggest bang for your dining dollar at WDW, send me another question. There is even one location where Guests can enjoy a free appetizer under certain circumstances...ask me how; I'd love to help!
