Hello Mom's. I have the Dining plan for my family. When making reservations online for Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney I am being asked to provide credit card information. Does this mean I can't use my dining plan credits there?

Hi Donald!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

For all reservations, Disney Dining Plan or not, a credit card is asked to be placed on file as a reservation holder.  When you dine, your credit card is not charged.  Your server will ask you if you are on the Disney Dining Plan and you can pay with your credits at that time.  The only time your credit card on file will be charged is if you are a no show for your reservation.  Only then, you may be charged a fee of $10 per person on the reservation.  I did look to confirm that Planet Hollywood is apart of the 2015 Disney Dining Plan, and no worries, it is!

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, come back and ask us.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
