On the dining plan, if we don't want to redeem our dinner points at the grand Floridian, Can we just pay as though we don't have the plan and order appetizers to share -or will we be charged for a dinner anyway?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a beauty!  You and your guests are going to love strolling through this resort.  Make sure to have those cameras ready as I am sure you will want to remember this resort for years to come.

You will be happy to know that YOU get to decide when you want to use your Disney Dining Plan.  Your Cast Member will ask if you are on the DDP the moment you are seated.  However, just let him/her know that you would like to pay by other means.  Trust me, this will not be an issue at all.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Looking for a great character dining experience?  You will surely want to visit Chef Mickey's located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Mickey and Friends will be happy to stop by your table for some great photo opportunities.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
