We are on the Dining Plan, can we use Disney Gift Cards to pay for the tips at Table service restaurants?

    Hi, Rosalie!

You can certainly use your Disney Gift Cards to pay for tips at Table Service locations. You can also use cash, credit, or charge back to your room on your MagicBand, whichever way is the easiest for you.

I love Disney Gift Cards. I buy them throughout the year and set them aside in a safe place. When it is time for our magical Disney vacation, I pull them out. It is like my secret little savings account! I use my Disney Gift Cards to pay for my room, dining, and of course shopping!

If you charge back to your room on your MagicBand, feel free to visit a friendly Cast Member at the front desk of your resort hotel to pay your balance with your Disney Gift Card(s). They will be happy to print out your charges so you can keep track of your spending.

OK, now here is a tip for you: Check your local "big box" store for Disney Gift Cards. They sometimes sell them with a small discount. I am happy to save a few dollars wherever I can!

Have fun with your Disney Gift Cards and have a magical visit to Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
