Dining plan details say meals will expire at midnight on the day of checkout. If I am booked for 5 nights/6 days does that include 6 days of meals or 5 days of meals?

Howdy Jessica!  Disney Dining Plans can be a great value but they can also be confusing.

The 2013 Disney Dining Plan includes 1 Quick Service Meal, 1 Snack and 1 Table Service Meal per person, per night of your stay for everyone in your party age 3 and up.  Because you will be staying at Disney World for 5 nights, you will have 5 Quick Service Meals, 5 Snacks and 5 Table Service Meals per person.  You don't have to use 1 of each per day.  You may use your entitlements in a manner that best fits your vacation plans until your entitlements are depleted.  Each person age 3 and up will also receive a Resort refillable mug that is good for the length of your stay.  There are other Disney Dining Plans available so be sure to find the one that is the best fit for you.

When you are 180 days out from your vacation, be sure to make dining reservations for your Table Service meals so you can ensure you are able to dine where you want and maximize your time at Disney World.  When making your dining plans, remember that Signature Restaurants each use 2 Table Service Meals per person.

One of the most important suggestions I can make is to leave your account open when you check out of your Resort on the last day of your vacation.  If you go to the front desk and close out your account, it will most likely deactivate any remaining entitlements you have.  You will be able to get them back prior to midnight that night but you don't want anything to cause you stress or challenges when you are enjoying your last day of vacation.

Please let me know if I can help further as you plan your magical vacation!
