If I have the dining plan, but my daughter staying in a different room does not, can I use my plan to purchase her dinner

Hello Barbara and thanks for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm so thrilled to know you have a magical upcoming stay at Walt Disney World Resort with your darling daughter all planned out and I can just imagine how excited you both must be feeling!
I'm a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plans because I love eating!  But seriously, I truly do love the freedom and flexibility the Disney Dining Plan gives my family to choose from over 100 dining locations on Disney property.
I'm happy to share that your daughter will of course be able to dine with you and can pay in the usual manor via cash or credit card for her meal as Guests are not currently permitted to share their Disney Dining Plan entitlements or credits for those Guests who are not using a Disney Dining Plan.
Plus for some additional planning I also thought you may find these Disney Dining Plans - Frequently Asked Questions to be a useful resource.
Wishing you a pixie dusted trip with your dear daughter to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
    Have a great Disney day.
