Hello Teresa!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!
Disney Dining Plans are absolutely amazing and really turn our vacations at the Walt Disney World Resort into all-inclusive experiences. I just love the peace of mind I have knowing our dining expenses are simply already paid for and all we have to do is select which dining locations we would like to visit.
Even if you have a Disney Dining Plan, at the time you make dining reservations you are required to inform a valid credit card to secure it. Your credit card will only be charged if you do not cancel your reservation according to terms on the cancelation policy or if you simply don’t show up for it. In both cases you will be charged a cancellation fee of usually $10.00 per person in your party.
If you are planning on dining at locations that require advance payment, such as dinner shows and Cinderella’s Royal Table, I highly recommend making reservation by phone at (407) 939-3463. Please inform the Cast Member that you would like to secure the reservation using your Disney Dining Plan entitlements.
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Teresa! I hope this helps you plan a magical Disney vacation.
