With the 2017 dining plan changes, will I still be able to exchange a QS credit for snack credits or will the exchange of QS for snack credits be discontinued?

    Hi Carol,

I have a feeling a Disney World Resort Vacation is in your future. Perhaps 2017 is the magical time?

My family loves the Disney Dining Plans. They let us leave our worries behind about how much will we spend on food, as we can simply incorporate that budget as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. It's so convenient.

A slight change was made for 2017 Quick-Service meals, and those entitlements include one entrée, and one non-alcoholic beverage. However an extra snack has been added to the 2017 Quick-Service Dining Plan and the 2017 Disney Dining Plan, per night, for each member of the family. So now you have the option to enjoy your dessert at a later time. We enjoy having a Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar in the mid afternoon.

To answer your question, yes, you may still substitute the non-alcoholic beverage on a Quick-Service meal for any other item eligible as a snack, as long as you do so in the same transaction. This is a great way to use your refillable drink mug when you dine at your resort. We always get juice or milk and pastries for the following morning.

So my question to you now is, when will you start packing? See you real soon!

    Ricardo.
