    Did the dining plan change?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Georgette! I love using the Disney Dining Plan when I'm on vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. My family really likes how easy and flexible it is, and of course, there's the peace of mind of knowing it's all been taken care of in advance.

At the moment the Disney Dining Plan is offered in three varieties: the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan, and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. One of the best parts about the Dining Plan is how it has evolved over time to better meet the needs of guests. Depending on when you were last at Walt Disney World, there have been a few changes to the Dining Plan but I think they've all been positive. Guests over the age of 21 can now choose to have an alcoholic beverage when they redeem a Quick-Service or Table-Service credit. I've tried so many fun cocktails and specialty drinks since this change has been made, but my favorite at the moment is the Kona Cool Sundown from Kona Café!

When I used the Dining Plan several years ago, there used to be a dessert included with the redemption of a Quick-Service credit, but this was recently changed as well and now you get two Snack credits to redeem whenever you want instead of a dessert and only one snack. My husband has a sweet tooth so he uses one of his Snack credits to get a dessert with his meal, but I like to save mine for a Mickey Pretzel with Cheese later on in the day.

    Have a magical day, Georgette!
