On the dining plan, am I amble to swap sides. For example, a dish including waffle fries could be replaced with sweet potato fries without fee.

    Hi Lisa!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In our family, we are big fans of using the Disney Dining Plan. We like the convenience and we love the feeling of paying for our food in advance.

You are usually able to swap out one side dish for another when using your dining credits. Depending on the side and current prices, some of the side "upgrades" will require a small fee, but most sides are interchangeable. Your server will be able to let you know in advance if a side would be extra.

Just so you are aware, you are now able to use dining plan credits when using "Mobile Order" at quick service restaurants in advance. You do this on the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's a great way to save some time while you're eating in the parks!

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
