i have the dining plan. we 2 adults & 2 preteens & 2 kids... for sit down 'a la cart' meals, does everyone in the party have to order? a couple of us are light eaters and would rather share meals, is that possible?

    Hi Lynn!

You can absolutely share meals if you'd like - even if you're on the dining plan. There have been times when we have done this very thing. The portions at most Disney restaurants can be quite large and can definitely feed two people if you have a small appetite. Just let your server know what you intend to do when you order and they will take care of the rest.

We have also sometimes split our bill by paying for some of the meals with the dining plan and out of pocket for others. We have found this to be more cost efficient if someone isn't very hungry and only ordered a salad or appetizer for their meal.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
