hi on the dining plan i have 3 adults and 1 child . at some restaurants can my son 8 redeem an adult meal for 4 adults dining even thought the card says 3a 1c and at other restaurants my daughter 10 redeems a child meal for 2adults and 2 children. thanks

    Hi Sandy!

In recent years, Disney has gotten much stricter in their Dining Plan policy in terms of "trade-off's." There was a time when some restaurants would allow "downgrades," but never upgrades. When I say downgrades I mean trading an adult meal "down" to a child meal, or trading a table service entitlement "down" to a quick service entitlement. There was never a time you can trade up (child to adult or quick to table).

Word has it that most restaurants now allow no modifications such as this, unless you decide to pay the cost difference out of pocket.

    Have a good one!
