Can a dining plan be added to a booking if we have booked the resort and the park hopper tickets through an Agency in our country and not on the Disney World website?

    Heigh-ho, Dillan!

It's off to Walt Disney World you go! In just a few days, you'll be on your way to the Most Magical Place on Earth. You must be so excited. Let's talk about modifying your booking to include a dining plan.

Dining plans can only be added to select vacation packages that include a resort stay and theme park tickets reserved directly with the Walt Disney World Travel Company. Depending on how your travel agent booked your trip, adding a dining plan might be possible. To determine your eligibility for a dining plan, please get in touch with the travel professional in charge of your booking.

I hope everything works out for you, Dillan. Since you'll be arriving during one of the warmest times of the year in Florida, I recommend scheduling a table-service lunch in the late afternoon each day when planning your meals. Sitting down in the air conditioning when the sun is hottest is a great way to relax and recharge during the day. For more tips on staying cool in summer, check out a recent Disney Parks Blog post with ideas from my fellow panelists and me.

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Please don't hesitate to reach out with more questions if there's anything we can do to make this or future Disney adventures even more magical.

    Cheers,

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two.
