    How to use dining plan?

Welcome to planDisney, Carol! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. I'm glad to hear that you're thinking about the Disney Dining Plan! It's one of those little magical extras that can make your trip feel a bit more carefree. Let's break it down!

First, the Disney Dining Plan is only available when you book a vacation package. That means it has to be bundled with your Disney Resort Hotel stay and theme park tickets. So, if you're staying at a Disney Resort and you book your hotel and tickets together, you'll have the option to add a Dining Plan to your package. Once it's added, your meals are essentially prepaid, which can make things so much easier when you're in the parks and don't want to think about budgeting for every meal.

So, how does it work? Depending on which Dining Plan you choose, you'll get a set number of meals and snacks for each night of your stay. For example, the Disney Dining Plan gives each guest age 3 and up one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, and one snack per night of your stay, plus a refillable drink mug you can use at your resort!

Using the plan is super simple. Once your Dining Plan is activated on your check-in day, your meals and snacks are loaded automatically to your MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass. When you dine at a participating location, just let the Cast Member know you're using the Dining Plan. They'll scan your band or card, and you're all set, easy as pie!

You can even track your remaining meals and snacks in the My Disney Experience app, which helps keep everything organized. And don't worry if you need some help, Cast Members are always happy to explain your options when you order. The Dining Plan is a fun, flexible way to enjoy meals around the parks and resorts, and it's a great excuse to go ahead and try that dessert you've been eyeing!

    Have a magical day, Carol!
