Hi again Wendy,
I’m so happy to see you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
‘Ohana at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where my husband and I had our rehearsal dinner prior to our wedding the following day at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. I remember that everyone left that meal positively stuffed to the gills, because it’s delicious and because it’s an “all you care to eat”
family style/buffet dining location. From what I understand, because you can order as much as you’d like at ‘Ohana, Guests typically aren't invited to take any leftover food with them at the end of their meal, though I have heard that it might be possible for dessert, especially if you're really too full to enjoy it. Please ask your server for more information when you arrive for your meal.
I haven’t had the chance to try
Pizzafari Family-Style Dining at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park yet, but I really hope to get the chance during one of my upcoming visits. From what I understand, because this isn’t an “all you care to eat” meal, you can absolutely ask for any leftovers to be boxed up at the end of your meal.
I hope my answer helps you plan some delicious Disney dining experiences during your upcoming vacation and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us. It’s always a pleasure to help my fellow Canadians plan their Disney Parks vacation!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
