Are there any dining packages or vip seating for parades at disneyworld? Also, what are the possible dining packages for 2024? How many dining credits do they use?

    Hi Heather!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I'm happy you stopped by to see us again with a question about one of my favorite topics - dining!

Heather, I can tell you and I think a lot alike as I also love trying to book dining packages that include reserved seating for popular entertainment options at Walt Disney World Resort.  As you may know, guests sometimes start saving that special viewing spot for parades, fireworks, and shows very early which can limit your magical time in the parks. Reserving a dining package not only saves time and takes the stress out of that process but also gives you a chance to enjoy a delicious meal!

While there are not any dining packages currently for parades, you will find options for fireworks, nighttime spectaculars, and concerts that may interest you. These often book quickly, so be prepared to pick your favorites and make those reservations when your window opens 60 days before your arrival. Let's take a quick look at what's available!
    • Fantasmic! Dining Package - I love stepping inside Mickey's dream at Fantasmic! on each visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  This package has several restaurant options and times of day available.  Want even better news?  Most options in this package only redeem one Table-Service meal from the Disney Dining Plan!  The one exception to this would be dining at The Hollywood Brown Derby which would redeem two meals.
    • Over at EPCOT, there are two dining packages offered for Luminous The Symphony of Us.  With these packages, you'll enjoy your meal during the fireworks show with a prime viewing location at Spice Road Table or Rose & Crown Dining Room.  Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plan cannot be used for this special dining experience.
    • No visit to Magic Kingdom Park is complete without viewing Happily Ever After.  While there are no specific dining packages, there are several dessert party options available which include reserved viewing of the fireworks.  I recommend booking the option that allows you to enjoy your desserts after the fireworks while most other people are busy exiting the park, but there are also options to enjoy your sweets before or during the show as well.
    • Lastly, the Garden Rocks Dining Package is offered during the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.  Similar to the Fantasmic! package above, you can choose from a variety of restaurants and receive a voucher for guaranteed seating at the concert that night.
In the absence of a dining package for the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park, I wanted to point out that you can book a Lightning Lane if you purchase Disney's Genie+ to grab a prime viewing location.

Heather, I hope this helps you plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  Please know you are always welcome to be our guest here at planDisney and we hope to see you again real soon!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
