Deanna from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

What dining packages are prepaid (a charge to a credit card is done in advance)? I booked a few reservations and received payment confirmation for the World of Color Dessert Party only. There is a charge in my card but not sure for which one.

Hi there, Deanna! Welcome to planDisney!

You are just a few weeks away from strolling down Main Street, U.S.A.! It's time to fire up the countdown calendar, start coordinating outfits to Minnie ears, and make some final decisions about your pixie-dusted plans. I can see that you are already well versed in making Advanced Dining Reservations and are ready to fully experience the magic of the Nighttime Spectaculars! For me, ending a Disney day with an evening full of music, a firework or two, and some favorite characters is truly the most magical experience on earth!

Your timing is perfect as all of the Nighttime Spectaculars are now back in full swing at the Disneyland Resort. There are several dining packages to choose from that offer preferred viewing spots for World of Color, the Main Street Electrical Parade, and Fantasmic!, but you are correct that they do not all require advance payment. The Plaza Inn Dining Package for Main Street Electrical Parade and the River Belle Terrace Premium Dining Package for Fantasmic! will require a credit card to hold the reservation, but you will only be charged if you do not cancel at least 1 day before the reservation. In this case, there will be a $10 per person cancellation fee (subject to change) charged to your card. Currently, only the World of Color Dessert Party will take payment in advance to reserve your spot. If your plans change and you need to cancel, a full refund is still available to you as long as you cancel at least 1 day prior. I'm so glad you grab a spot, though, as these do fill up quickly!

You are going to love the World of Color Dessert Party! I got to experience this magic a few weeks ago with my fellow panelist bud Carrie for a Moms night out! What's not to love about rainbow-inspired sweet treats, sprinkle-rimmed cocktails, and some epic Disney storytelling?! The dessert party offers the only seated area to enjoy the show while you taste that rainbow. When you check in, you'll be asked if you'd prefer to be at a front-row, low-top table or a second-row, high-top table. Carrie made the call for the high-top, and I'm SO glad she did! While the view is fantastic from both, the viewing area for the dessert party is set back a bit so you will have some other Guests in an area in front of you. The elevation of the high-top made for the perfect view! You'll immediately get your plate of treats - some sweet, some savory - and place your drink order. If you have Mousketeers in tow, they will get a VERY cool light-up souvenir cup that was the envy of all the adults! All that's left to do is sit back and enjoy the show!

Deanna, so much magic awaits. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us. We are always here for you at planDisney

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
