Hi there, Sheila! Welcome to planDisney! I can see that you already have your ghosts in a row and are one of the lucky ones who snagged tickets to this year's
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party! You are going to love the happy haunts, surprising tricks and treats, and spotting some fabulous villains that only come out to play on these special nights!
I'm happy to be your ghost host for this question, and I already love where your head is going in your planning! A dining package or dessert party that comes with a secured spot for the
Frightfully Fun Parade is a wonderful way to add a little extra Halloween magic to your Oogie Boogie experience! Not only do you get to sit and enjoy a meal or some sweets while you slow down and take it all in, but you don't have to spend your time staking out a spot along the parade route during the party. I know those Oogie Boogie minutes are precious! While we haven't heard any news on these enchanting extras for this year's shindig, I did a little digging and it looks like these were announced around mid-August last year on the
Disney Parks Blog.
Wine Country Trattoria offered a lunch or dinner package that you could enjoy outside of party hours while
Sonoma Terrace hosted a dessert party during the event. My best piece of advice here is to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and the
@DISNEYLAND and
@PLANDISNEYPANEL Instagram Accounts as that is where news has been breaking first lately!
As you start to make your plans for how you will take in all the ghosts and not-so-scary fun of the evening, I would continue to have your eyes peeled on the
Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to the September 2nd kick-off of
Halloween Time. Usually, Disneyland will release a comprehensive Foodie Guide with a run down of all the exclusive treats you can find during the fall festivities. I don't know about you, but a Disneyland day and night must include some delicious sweets and treats in my book! If you're already starting to hum"This is Halloween" as you're reading this like I am, then I also recommend taking in
Episode 3 of the planDisney Podcast which was filmed INSIDE the
Haunted Mansion. My fellow panelists are giving out all the best tips for the season while sitting in Master Gracey's ballroom! I still can't get over how cool this episode is!
Sheila, you are in for a BOOtastic event! Don't forget that you can actually enter Disney California Adventure Park starting at 3 p.m. on the day of the party. This is a great time to get some favorite attractions under your belt so that you can really take in all the Halloween offerings once that party starts!

Boo to you!
