Hiya, Christi!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so grateful for the chance to help plan an amazing Disneyland Resort vacation.
My family and I have really enjoyed various dining packages that include reserved viewing for
parades at the Disneyland Resort. Whether or not it is worthwhile may depend on your particular needs and
budget. For example,
small children may benefit from an opportunity to get up close to the parade without having to look over or between other guests. For popular or
new parades, finding a good viewing location may require an extended amount of time to wait before the parade begins. But a dining package may grant a better chance at a great viewing position without a long wait.
During a
limited-time run of the Main Street Electrical Parade a few years ago, my family and I had just one day to visit Disneyland Resort on our way to board a
Disney Cruise Line sailing out of
San Diego. Seeing the parade was our number one priority during that visit. Because our time was so limited, we felt reserving a dining package to enjoy the parade would be useful. With our reserved viewing area secured, we could afford to enjoy more time experiencing other attractions together rather than spend time waiting at a viewing area well before the parade began.
I’m really excited to experience the new
"Magic Happens" Parade this Spring. So far, no dining package for this parade has been announced. But stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and information.
Have a magical time, Christi!
