What dining options do you offer for thanksgiving? We are't planning on attending the parks that day but have reservations days either side. We are a party of 6, only one child (6years old) My in-laws prefer formal dining no buffet.

    Hi Theresa,

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your questions. Thanksgiving at Disneyland is definitely a unique affair! The Holidays begin at Disneyland on November 14, 2025, and continue through January 7, 2026. Despite the seasonal contrast, the parks still offer several Thanksgiving dinner options.

Historically, most Thanksgiving dinners have been buffet-style, such as Goofy’s Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel) and Storytellers Cafe (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel). However, there may be a couple of more formal, sit-down options to explore. I recommend looking into Great Maple (at Pixar Place Hotel). They typically serve traditional American fare, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they offer something special for Thanksgiving. You may also want to consider dining at Napa Rose (at the Grand Californian). Napa Rose is an award-winning restaurant and is sure to have a delicious holiday menu available to guests. As an added bonus, you’ll be dining in their newly renovated space!

I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about Thanksgiving meals. Remember, dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance, so be sure to stay on top of your reservation window. Since these are hotel dining options, they are open to everyone, not just hotel or park guests.

I hope this helps with your planning, Theresa! If you have more questions or need extra tips, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your vacation.

Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving and a merry Christmas in the parks!
