Hi Kimberly!
Welcome to planDisney. If there's one thing you're sure to find on a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, it's plenty of dining options! My family has a whole range of tastes, from adventurous palates to very picky eaters, which makes Disney's Contemporary Resort the perfect stop for us –– it has so many choices!
Whether you're looking for table-service restaurants, a quick bite to eat, or something to snack on as you relax by the pool,
Disney's Contemporary Resort has something for everyone. The Resort's newest offering is
Steakhouse 71, a family-friendly steakhouse with a menu inspired by some of Walt Disney's favorite dishes, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a truly fine dining experience, head up to
California Grill, where you can currently find the limited-time 50th Anniversary Celebration menu –– a three-course tasting experience, complete with views that are out of this world! And if you're on the hunt for Mickey and his pals, make sure to stop by
Chef Mickey's for an all-you-care-to-eat, family-style meal with Mickey, Pluto and the whole gang, open for breakfast and dinner.
For a quick bite,
Contempo Cafe offers fast-casual options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while
Contemporary Grounds is the perfect stop for a Joffrey's Coffee and snacks on your way to
Early Morning Entry at
Magic Kingdom Park. Poolside, you'll find
The Sand Bar, as well as
Cove Bar, a private spot for Guests of
Bay Lake Tower and
Disney Vacation Club Members to enjoy.
You'll want to note that reservations are recommended for table-service restaurants. While
dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance for all Guests, those Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or campground can make reservations for their entire length-of-stay beginning 60 days from the date of check-in.
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Kimberly. I hope your upcoming trip is filled with delicious dishes from start to finish!
Happy New Year!
Amy
