Hello! When dining, and when a menu has Appetizers and Sushi, and being on the DDP; is Sushi considered an appetizer or is it an entre? Thank you.

    Hi Dennis,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family enjoys the value of the Disney Dining Plan, especially when we have booked Character Dining Experiences or Signature Dining. We also love having the option of choosing different Plans since during each of our visits we like to try new Restaurants, so we need a Plan that will fit with those particular Dining Experiences.

I am a huge fan of sushi and have had some of the very best at Walt Disney World Resort Restaurants. California Grill, Kona Cafe, and Splitsville Dining Room are some of my favorite spots for fantastic sushi, and I'm really looking forward to trying Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs when I visit next! When ordering sushi while using the Disney Dining Plan, please note that if the sushi item you are ordering is listed in the appetizer choices on the menu, then it is considered an appetizer selection. If the sushi is listed in the entrée section, then it is considered an entrée selection. You can always double check with the Cast Member serving you as there may be some exceptions to this at certain Dining locations.

I hope this information helps. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
