Hello, Rachel! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Wow, I see that you'll be arriving in just a few short weeks- I hope you are starting to pack! March is a beautiful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Even after a mild Florida winter, you will feel the parks in
springtime mode!
Rachel, I am happy to chat with you about dining because my trips almost always revolve around food! We are constantly trying out different restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort and then trying to squeeze in our favorites.
At
Disney's Animal Kingdom, you will find lots of delicious options, including
Restaurantosaurus! The dining experience you are referring to,
Restaurantosaurus Burgers & Sundaes has gotten rave reviews as it seems to not only be delicious but a great way to use a Quick-Service dining entitlement if you are using any
Disney Dining Plan.
Rachel, I spoke to a Cast Member this morning and the official word is that because this model of dining is relatively new, it will be at the discretion of the restaurant. In this case, my best recommendation is to
plan to pay for each of your twins, but then prior to check-in, speak to a Cast Member at Restaurantosaurus and let them know that you'd like for your kids to split one meal. While there is no guarantee, it is always good to ask. You never know when Tinker Bell will work her pixie-dusted Magic and allow it. Remember, if you are utilizing any of the Disney Dining Plans, each meal will be one Quick-Service entitlement.
And... since you'll be in the area, make sure to stop by
Donald's Dino-Bash located in Dinoland, U.S.A. If your twins love characters, this is the place to be!
Best wishes for an unforgettable vacation with your family. I hope it's as sweet as the cherry on top of the sundaes you'll soon be enjoying,
Lauren
