Welcome to planDisney, Nora!
Are you counting down the days until you arrive at
The Most Magical Place on Earth? This is certainly the place where "laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever." Just remember: second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning. Here we gooooooo!
As Lumière once said, "If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest!"One of my favorite things in planning a Disney vacation is deciding which
restaurant(s) to eat at. If you're dining at Magic Kingdom Park, I highly recommend
Liberty Tree Tavern. This was actually the very first table service restaurant I dined at when I first visited Walt Disney World Resort. I've been back a number of times since and I'm never disappointed. The food, service, and atmosphere are truly wonderful.
As you alluded to in your question, starting with visits on January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based
tickets. Like most Disney Parks fans, I'm so excited about this change! That means you will not need a park reservation in order to dine at
Magic Kingdom Park. Just make sure that if you have a 1 Park Per Day ticket, you only visit Magic Kingdom Park that day. If you begin your day at another theme park (e.g.
EPCOT), you will need a Park Hopper in order to hop to Magic Kingdom Park for your dining reservation.
I hope that makes sense, Nora. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
Mike
