How does dining in the lounge work at Space 220? At morning rope drop if you go over to Space 220 can you request or get a slotted time to eat in the lounge? Does your entire party need to be with when requesting or receiving a time? Thanks, Bernadine

Hey there, Bernie! Welcome to planDisney. I see that you have a trip planned to the Most Magical Place on Earth in a few weeks. I bet you are getting so excited.

Bernie, I just ate at Space 220 for lunch a few weeks ago and have the lowdown on this spot. First of all, let me tell you that this dining experience is out-of-this-world. It is so unique. The lounge is actually my favorite way to enjoy this new restaurant. The lounge area at Space 220 works on a first-come, first-serve basis. What this means is when you are ready to dine there, just head over and put your name on the list. Right now, it's not a virtual queue or anything, you'll just stay there and wait until it's your turn. Sometimes there's no wait and you'll travel straight to outer space and other times you may experience a delay in your flight. Your entire crew should be with you when you head over to Space 220. When you dine in the lounge, you actually can choose different menu options. You're able to enjoy appetizers from the flight bite menu or if you're really hungry you can enjoy the prix fixe offerings. You'll also be able to enjoy atmospheric spirits (cocktails), beer, wine or soft drinks. If adult beverages aren't your thing, there are also some really fun zero-proof cocktails to enjoy as well.

Space 220 really is a neat experience and I love being able to enjoy without a dining reservation using the lounge area. I hope you'll be able to enjoy it too. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
