Hi Ashley,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My fellow panelists and I love it when guests return with more great questions! I'm thrilled you're asking about places to eat in EPCOT. My family has long been divided between adventurous eaters and more selective eaters. As my kids have grown up, they have thankfully developed more adventurous palates. However, EPCOT offers great options for everyone.
Since your party consists of adventurous eaters, there is no better time to visit EPCOT than when the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is happening. This Festival takes place each fall, generally starting in very late August or early September and ending in early to mid-November. Each year, Global Marketplaces representing various nations or styles of cuisine are set up around World Showcase with a few in Future World. There is a mind-boggling array of small plates offered. There is usually a Festival Passport that lists all of the available dishes so you can keep track of your favorite delights.
There are other EPCOT Festivals that offer great food choices. The
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is held mid-January through mid-to-late February and has a focus on the Culinary Arts. The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in the spring has Outdoor Kitchens with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. You can experience favorite holiday foods from around the world at Holiday Kitchens during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays held in late November through the new year.
If you don't happen to be visiting EPCOT during a Festival, there are still fabulous choices for dining. For Quick Service in Future World, I highly recommend Sunshine Seasons Cafe in The Land. They have numerous choices to satisfy any appetite. Plus, you're right next to Soarin' or Living with the Land! For a Table Service meal in Future World, my family enjoys the
Coral Reef Restaurant. The seafood is tasty and you can't beat the view of the fish swimming by in the aquarium.
The World Showcase options up a whole new world of dining opportunities. For Quick Service, I'm a fan of
La Cantina de San Angel. We love to share a plate of nachos and wash it down with a cool margarita. I'm also a big fan of the
Katsura Grill. This hidden gem offers favorites like sushi and teriyaki. If you prefer Table Service,
Chefs de France is a fantastic option. We love their Prix Fixe menu with a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. If you are looking for a special meal, you might consider
Takumi-Tei. They have an amazing menu of delicious choices.
Ashley, thank you again for visiting us with another great question. I hope I've given you some good ideas! As you plan your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I hope you'll let us know if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!
Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
Amy H.
