We are dining as a large party and had to book the reservations split up. Will we be able to eat together? if we were unable to get all the reservations (grandma decided to tag along late) will we be able to add her to our reservations for dining?

Hello Cynthia, we're so happy you've stopped by planDisney with such a great question for us to help you with today!

I really do believe that it's certainly the more, the merrier when visiting Walt Disney World Resort, which is why I feel so very fortunate to have enjoyed the opportunity of visiting the most magical place on earth as part of my own large extended family group.  I just know your whole party is in for a zip-a-dee-doo-dah time during your upcoming Summer vacation to the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World Resort!

In my own experience of dining with a larger than your average family group who had multiple Advanced Dining Reservations at Restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort.  I'm happy to share that in order to ensure my family tried to dine together as best we could, I simply explained to the Cast Member checking us in at the restaurant podium that we would, if at all possible, like to be sat together, or at least on tables close-by to one another.

Well of course Grandma wants to join in with all the pixie-dusted fun with the rest of her family at Walt Disney World Resort!  You may be able to add Grandma to your already made Advanced Dining Reservations by speaking on the phone with a Cast Member by calling the number for Dining Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

I'd also like to share that although sometimes our restaurant requests were indeed made possible, other times they were not.  Please be assured that Cast Members will always do their best to try and accommodate Guest requests.  However, do bear in mind that requests can never be guaranteed and are always based on current availability.

Cynthia, since your June vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is fast approaching, I thought you may enjoy our Panel Extras - Countdown to your Disney Vacation to help to start to build upon your family's excitement as the days begin to countdown to Disney!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
