We have an 8:15am dining at Be Our Guest. We are worried about how we will get there on time if shuttle buses only start 45 minutes before the park opens at 9. Is there a way to arrange transportation to get there on time and how early can we arrive?

    Hi Diane!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are planning a day at Magic Kingdom that matches the way I like to start my Magic Kingdom days. An early breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant is the perfect way to get a fantastic breakfast before the theme park opens and once you are fininshed, you can enjoy the attractions and activities at the back of the park! Be sure to take some group pictures in front of Cinderella Castle while you are walking down Main Street, U.S.A. because the morning light is beautiful and you won't have very many people in the background of your photos.

While generally complimentary resort transportation buses begin 45 minutes before the theme park opening time, buses generally begin operating early to accommodate Guests with morning breakfast reservations. I have found that buses generally begin operating one hour prior to the earliest breakfast reservation. I recommend that you call the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel the day before your breakfast reservation and ask for the schedule of the morning buses to Magic Kingdom for the day of your breakfast. In my experience, they have been able to give me detailed bus times for the morning that have allowed me to plan my departure time. If there is not a time that works for your reservation, you can either take a cab or utilize the Minnie Van Service.

Even though it is early, I recommend that you plan on allowing one hour transportation time to give you plenty of time to travel to Magic Kingdom and enjoy the quiet morning in the park as you walk to Be Our Guest Restaurant.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
