We are dining with friends who are not on the Disney dining plan while we are. Will a restaurant be able to split the bill into table service credits for us and paying out of pocket for our friends?

    Hi Jeske!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about dining at Walt Disney World Resort with the Disney Dining Plan. My family loves the flexibility afforded by the Disney Dining Plan. We have used it many times on our Disney vacations.

The answer to your question regarding splitting up the check at Disney restaurants is "yes!" Your server will be happy to split the check among those dining at your table. Just let him or her know how many guests are on each check. Also, let your server know whether each party is paying with cash or Disney Dining Plan entitlements. I have experienced this same scenario several times and it was no problem at all to separate the check in this manner.

So, which of Disney's amazing table service restaurants are you planning to experience on your upcoming vacation? Don't forget to make advance dining reservations once you've chosen where you'd like to dine. You can book those reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463. Don't hesitate to submit follow-up questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need any suggestions for where to dine.

    Bon appétit,
    Jill
