How or can we use the dining food plan points at the food and wine festival in Epcot?

    Hi, Theodore!

We just returned from a fantastic long weekend in Walt Disney World, a highlight of which was the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. You are in for such a treat!

When touring the Festival while using the Disney Dining Plan, I love to save my Dining Plan snack credits for the most interesting treats offered at many of the 25 global marketplaces which have been added just for the Festival. Each marketplace will have a menu posted, including the DDP logo next to any item which qualifies as a snack on the Dining Plan. You'll be pleasantly surprised when you see how very many of these items are considered a snack on the DP; I know I was!

There is a wonderful unofficial listing of all of the menus, including the DDP identification, at AllEars.Net, one of my favorite sources of information about all things Disney. Head there and click on "NEW! Marketplace Menus with Prices" for details. (Warning. You will soon start craving quite a few of these dishes immediately upon reading. Do not visit that site while hungry.)

Of course, regarding your Quick Service or Table Service entitlements, you can use them as you normally would have done throughout the Quick and Table Service restaurants located throughout the park.

Have fun deciding on which special small plate you'll treat yourself to next as you tour the Festival, Theodore!

Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
