What 7 dining experiences would you recommend for a family of 7 with 3 kids age 12, 9 and 6?

    Robert:

WOW! Because my family has several ages, and since I don't know if you have boys or girls, I'll list our favorites:

'Ohana/Polynesian: Literally means 'family.'  The food is served family-style  from an open-pit kichen. Floor games like limbo for the children lend to the family-fun atmosphere.

Whispering Canyon Cafe/Wilderness Lodge: Corny antics meet the corn on the cob! The wait staff dish up good humor over equally delicious home-style fixins.

Biergarten/Epcot: The Alpine floorshow encourages young ones and the young-at-heart to enjoy the polka AND the chicken dance. Large tables wlll allow you to get reservations easily.

Rainforest Cafe/Downtown Disney: Eat among the "wild" and enjoy the "animal"tronics along with the occasional rain shower.

Sci-Fi Dinner Theatre/Disney Studios: Although our family couldn't see in the cars, we (and y'all) can enjoy the food and movie from one of the tables in the back. Get the Reuben sandwich!

Toy Story Pizza Pizza Planet/Disney Studios: We don't necessarily go here for the pizza....come with a roll of quarters and let the kids play in the arcade while you catch your breath and enjoy YOUR lunch!

Akershus/Epcot: If you've got princesses in your party, you'll get to meet "the" Disney princess here-lots at every meal.

Although these are just my opinions, one of the places I like to go and "research" the restaurants at WDW is www.allears.net under Dining.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
