Hi Laurelle, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family has
serious Frozen fever. My son dressed as King Elsa at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party last year, and we recently traveled to New York City to see Frozen: The Broadway Musical (we loved every frozen fractal of the show). Anna and Elsa are such amazing role models, showing us how important it is to stay true to who we really are; that family is a powerful force; and that love, laughter, and hope heal. We just can’t “let it go” – we are Frozen fanatics!
At this time, there are not any
character dining experiences with Anna, Elsa, and the rest of the gang from Arendelle at Walt Disney World Resort. I’m hoping that one day, “for the first time in forever,” the fans will get a chance to dine with the royal sisters, and I’m sending icy pixie dust to your family (and mine!) that it happens. Reading the
Disney Parks Blog is the best way to keep up-to-date with any news, and it’s also a great place to read about new experiences and yummy treats at Walt Disney World Resort.
If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience, I have two recommendations for Frozen lovers. The first is the
Frozen Ever After Dessert Party, which offers a fabulous spread of delicious Frozen-themed desserts, access to a VIP viewing area for
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth (Epcot’s current fireworks spectacular), and then a special ride on
Frozen Ever After when the fireworks are done. The other is the
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. While you won’t meet Anna and Elsa here, my family loved meeting Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Prince Eric. Rapunzel’s determination and humor make her one of our favorites, and she and Flynn were so much fun to meet. While characters are subject to change, we really loved the theming of the breakfast, with its focus on adventure and friendship.
Laurelle, there are so many fantastic
Frozen experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll definitely want to stop by the
Royal Sommerhus in Epcot to meet Anna and Elsa, and take a ride through Arendelle on Frozen Ever After. My family’s very favorite Frozen experience is
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This stage show is absolutely hilarious, and I always get tears in my eyes watching my son and all the kiddos in the theater singing along with their favorite songs from the movies. We never miss it – in fact, we usually go at least twice!
Wishing you a magical – and Frozen-filled – vacation,
Robyn
