Are there any dining experiences that little kids can't go to? I know about V&A's are there any at other Chef's tables or Food and Wine events? Thanks!

Hi Erin! Most restaurants at Walt Disney World are expecting children of all ages and therefore welcome them for any meal.

The special wine rooms at Jikos and Citricos will accommodate children as it is a booked out reservation from one party. If you choose to include your children you are free to do that. Most have limited seating such as 12 for Citricos.

The Food and Wine Festival rules are a bit more vague and in the past I have received different answers. I have participated in many of the events and have seen many strollers brought along with the parents. I have also seen teenage children but between those ages I have seen very few if any. Many of the events are limited in numbers and quite expensive and do not have children's prices. Typical events as Party For the Senses would be included in this. Most parents find it is less expensive to use the Kids Clubs or in room sitter versus paying for tickets for an event that the children would likely not eat anything.

One event during this Festival that we do bring our children to is the 3-D Dessert Party usually held on Friday nights. There again are few children but it is a place where kids can enjoy the sweets and the live band that plays "sugary" sounds all night.

Parents are the best judge of their own children no matter what the age might be. There is no sense in paying big prices for an event or a dinner if a child will not enjoy it. But other children might relish in new cuisine and love the experience. Each case will be an individual decision. When making reservations for the Food and Wine events be sure and ask if they will accept children of all ages as so many are quite small gatherings.
