We want to do the dining experience fantastic and brown derby. we have a dinner res for 4/25 at 720 for brown derby is there a way to turn this into the experience? show is at 830 so how early should we be eating? can u do lunch instead of dinner? thanks!

    Hi Marilynn!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

You will absolutely love dining at The Hollywood Brown Derby. Unfortunately, you will not be able to turn that 'regular' dining reservation into a Fantasmic! Meal Experience (FME). The Fantasmic! meal packages are booked through a completely separate reservation system. When booking a FME, I typically suggest a late lunch or early dinner time between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. General seating at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater begins 90 minutes prior to each show. Without the FME Vouchers, I would recommend arriving at least sixty minutes minutes prior to the beginning of the show. In your case with a 7:20 p.m reservation time at The Hollywood Brown Derby, you won't be able to make it to an 8:30 p.m. Fantasmic! showtime. Therefore, I would suggest one of two courses of action. Either try to book an earlier FME time, or alternatively, opt to miss Fantasmic! that evening an try to see it a different night during your vacation. While it is sometimes preferable to have the FME Vouchers, it is not absolutely necessary. You can see the show without them. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
