Hiya Kathy - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
First off, let me just say that you've made a great choice by booking a
Fantasmic! Dining Package. This is such a great way to enjoy a Table Service Dining experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios and have guaranteed seating at
Fantasmic! later that same evening. It's really going to streamline your evening.
Kathy, right now the dining system isn't connected to the Park Pass Reservation system. This means that you will be able to book a Fantasmic! Dining Package without having a
Park Pass Reservation for Hollywood Studios, but it isn't recommended because Park Hopping after 2 p.m. is subject to availability. So, if you make a Park Pass Reservation for EPCOT, you should be able to hop over to Hollywood Studios after 2 p.m., but if Hollywood Studios happens to reach capacity for some reason and park hopping is restricted, you would miss out on your Fantasmic! Dining Package - that would be a huge bummer!
That being said, parks don't normally reach capacity and there haven't been many days where any park hopping is restricted. It's still a risk that I want you to be aware of! The formal policy is that you should have a Park Pass Reservation for your dining reservation's Theme Park.
If you make a Park Pass Reservation at Hollywood Studios, you might consider getting a fun breakfast at
Disney Springs instead. I absolutely love
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew!
I hope this information is helpful, Kathy -
stop by any time with additional questions!
