Hey Angie-
A
Disney Dining Plan is the easiest way to get great meals and not have to worry about cooking and cleaning. With a Disney Dining Plan your meal entitlements do not expire until 11:59 p.m. the day of your check out. So if you have credits remaining you may still use them. Last summer we stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and had eight counter service reservations remaining, two for each person in my family. We ate breakfast with four credits then got box lunches from Landscape of Flavors with the other four. We ate them at the airport. The solution was POPPINS! - Practically perfect in every way.
Quick service credits provide a different amount of food breakfast as it does for lunch/dinner. For breakfast you may receive an entree and a non-alcoholic beverage while for lunch/dinner you will receive an entree, non-alcoholic beverage and a dessert. An appetizer may not be substituted for a dessert. You will find soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas, fish, chicken and meat available with quick service dining. Your son is bound to find a tasty dish.
Angie, even with my picky younger son we have always found food for my kids. The culinary team at Walt Disney World Resort is there to please and will help you if you need to slightly modify a dish. Last summer we were at the Yak and Yeti Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. On the Kids Menu they have Vegetable Lo Mein but my 7 year old son wanted plain pasta with plain tofu. The server consulted with the chef and Presto! he brought out plain rice with pan seared tofu. My son loved it! It never hurts to ask but it may not be possible.
One thing is for sure, everyone will eat well. So glad you stopped by again, Angie.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
