When dining with the dining plan with parties larger than six is the gratuity automatically charged to the individual that reserved the sit down dinner ? Will they give you an option to split it amongst the families?

    Hi Laura,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your dining question.  Not only do I have a family of six, but I also have experience vacationing with extended family and friends so most of my Table Service dining experiences have incurred an automatic gratuity.  It has been my experience that an automatic gratuity is added to each bill separately based upon the total of each individual bill.  Although one person may make the reservation for the entire party, the bill may be further divided into smaller parties.  By dividing the bill into smaller parties, each family will pay their portion of gratuity.  Simply inform your server how you would like your bills to be divided when they take your order.

Have a Magical gathering with your friends and family Laura!  Please let us know if we can help you further with your vacation planning.

    Blessings,
