When dining at the different Disney Parks, other than Epcot, can you purchase beer, wine or cocktails with your meals. I know that we can purchase beer in Germany at Epcot but is it only limited to Epcot?

    Hi Denise,

While Walt Disney World sets the standard for theme park entertainment, their commitment to quality and service extends to their food and beverage programs as well. That being said, I look forward to the dining experiences just as much as the attractions, shows, and resort hotels!

So, you'll be happy to know that the answer to your question is: Yes!

As such, let me give you a quick rundown of each theme park:

    1) The Magic Kingdom

This used to be the only theme park in Walt Disney World that was "dry." However, with the recent opening of Be Our Guest Restaurant, guests for dinner have the option to pair their meals with really interesting European wines and beers.

    2) Epcot

The restaurants around World Showcase feature an amazing assortment of beers, wines, and cocktails that are native to those countries. Plus, there are a handful of kiosks and bars around the World Showcase promenade where you can wet your whistle. (My favorite is Tutto Gusto in the Italy pavilion!)

    3) Disney's Hollywood Studios

The table-service restaurants offer extensive beer, wine, cocktail menus. My favorite for wine is The Hollywood Brown Derby and my favorite for old-school cocktails is the 50's Prime Time Cafe.

    4) Disney's Animal Kingdom

The table-service restaurants offer an exotic array of alcoholic beverages, many of which I had never heard of before. (The Tusker House Restaurant has some really unique African beers!)

Here's a fun fact from your buddy Derek:

If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by the wine lists, fear not because there are over 300 sommeliers across the various restaurants at Walt Disney World!

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you like to chat about specific restaurants and I'll be more than happy to give you the scoop!

    Best regards,
    Derek
