Oh, one of my family's favorite things about a visit to
Walt Disney World is enjoying some absolutely fabulous meals together--and a
Disney Dining Plan is our go-to way to do so!
Bernadette, when you use the
My Disney Experience app or book Advanced Dining Reservations online through your
My Disney Experience account, you are securing some wonderful reservations for Table Service meals throughout the parks, resort hotels, and
Disney Springs. How you pay for them comes later.
Once you've arrived at your dining destination, tell your server that you will be using the Disney Dining Plan. Those Dining Plan meals will be applied to your bill, so you'll just be responsible for any additional items you've enjoyed plus gratuity for excellent service. So easy!
If you choose to use
Mobile Food & Beverage Order through the app, Bernadette, you'll have the option to apply Dining Plan Table Service meals to that purchase as well. Recently, my husband and I decided to order dinner from
Wailulu Bar & Grill during a stay at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. I ordered our entrees, two beverages, and two desserts, then opted to use a Dining Plan meal for each. My husband picked up our dinners just a wee bit later and we enjoyed dining on our balcony with a beautiful view of the lagoon. So stress-free and delicious!
