Can you use a dining credit for the Fireworks desert party?

    Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  My family and I love attending the fireworks and dessert parties at Walt Disney World Resort, they are a great way to experience great dessert selections with a perfect view of the fireworks, without large crowds.

Since the Dessert Parties are considered special experiences, the Disney Dining Plan Credits cannot be used for payment to these special events.  With that being said, I would still highly recommend attending one of the Dessert Parties, as they are truly worth every penny.

My favourite special experience is the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, however if you are looking to splurge, another favourite experience for my family is Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise.  This experience allows guests to view Happily Ever After from Seven Seas Lagoon, aboard a historical Ferryboat.  There is something to do for everyone, my daughter loves the ultraviolet scavenger hunt, while my husband and I love relaxing and enjoying the dessert selections. Guests are all given "Mickey Vision" glasses to experience the fireworks from a completely different perspective.  As always if you are planning on attending one of these special experiences, don't forget to make your Advanced Dining Reservations in plenty of time.  These experiences are popular and tend to fill up quickly.

Please let us know if you have any other questions Jennifer, we are always happy to help.
