Dining at Chef Mickeys in the morning for son's bday. We'll be going to Epcot b/c that will be an Epcot Extra Hours day. What's the closest Epcot attraction to DCR? I want to have as efficient and fun a vacation as possible.

Celebrating your son's birthday at Walt Disney World is a great way to create some magical memories. I would make a point of getting him the special 'it's my birthday' Mickey Mouse Ears as well as the personalized free Celebration Recognition Button. The whole family will enjoy meeting their favorite Disney characters while enjoying a great birthday breakfast. Great way to start such a special day. From there heading over to Epcot via the Monorail is so cool. Just drops you off in front. When you couple this with the early entry it is shaping up to be a day filled with magical smiles. As for the closest,  I think the closest attraction would be one of my favorites, Spaceship Earth. This audio animatronic journey of man, narrated by Judy Dench, takes you on a journey through time. I have really learned to love this ride and I think you will also. Hope the vacation is magical.
